Stk. 2285 1933 Ford Roadster
There is a simple formula for a hit country-rock song - good music, pretty women and fast cars. The boys of 'ZZ Top' loved the '33 Ford. Their favorite, a Vickie dubbed “The Eliminator', was in many a music video. This all-custom '33 Roadster was never in a video, but it should have been. The fiberglass body (with suicide doors) is a quality piece. Blue/silver metallic basecoat/clearcoat paint gives it a menacing look. In order to enhance the driving experience, there is a hi-grade leather interior, comfortable seating for two and a custom tilt-wheel. AutoMeter analog gauges are laid out to perfection. A Sony AM/FM/CD has a 6-disc changer mounted in the trunk. Horsepower comes from a serious 350ci crate motor equipped with all the right performance pieces that still remains very streetable. Behind this powerful 'Mouse' is a GM 4-speed Turbo-Hydramatic transmission and a Currie differential. The custom detailed chassis integrates power steering and sophisticated front and rear suspensions with coil-over shocks. Power 4-wheel disc brakes slow American Racing wheels with BFGoodrich '40 Series' radials. This handsome street rod must be seen to be appreciated. It will soon make one new owner very proud.
