STK 2475 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport

Jeep built the XJ Series Cherokee from 1983 through 2001 and it helped revolutionize the 4x4 market by introducing many industry firsts - first compact 4-door SUV, first Uni-body construction and first full-time 4x4 system with shift-on-the-fly capability. This partially restored 2001 Cherokee Sport is a nice example of an XJ that has been carefully modified for off-road, but is still very much at home on the street. The builder re-sprayed the body Dark Blue and added fiberglass fender flares all around. There is a light bar on the roof and raised intake snorkel for 'water crossings'. A Rough Country Pro 9500 winch has been strategically mounted up front just in case things get really messy off-road. DropStar 20”x10” mount new 275x55x20” Nitro Ridge Grappler radials. Under the hood is a 4.0L Jeep 6-cylinder that the owner states was a replacement motor and has only only 80K miles on it to date. It is backed by a 4-speed automatic with electronic 4WD transfer case and the chassis is equipped with power steering and power disc/drum brakes. The dual exhaust system is new and a new suspension lift kit has just recently been installed. The interior is mostly original and in good condition. Upholstery, headliner, dash pad and door cards are all well preserved. There is a full set of factory gauges. This XJ is ready for a new owner who will enjoy this classic Jeep on the road or in the back woods. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”
