Such A Beauty! Cab Off Restoration 2012
STK 2880 1954 Ford F-100
This 1954 F-100 may very well be the nicest F-100 we have ever had. The Second Gen F-100 stepside was offered from '53 to '56 and there are few like this one in today's marketplace. The current owner has possessed this truck for over 40 years and performed a complete cab-off restoration in 2012. Nothing was spared - no detail was omitted. The exterior was carefully refinished in Bronze and Dark Brown - a professional finish that is virtually flawless. A 1956 F-100 chrome grill was fitted, a beautiful oak bed was installed and the hood converted to a front tilt format that works perfectly. The stunning interior was redone in Bronze hi-grade vinyl. Rolled and pleated upholstery is beyond compare and matching door panels/headliner are perfect compliments. The custom dashboard holds a full set of VDO classic gauges and tunes are provided by a JVC AM/FM/CD stereo system. A custom wood wheel is mounted on a tilt column, windows are tinted glass and air conditioning is provided by a Vintage Air system. Horsepower is furnished by a Ford Performance 306ci Ford Windsor with aluminum heads and mild cam that outputs 370bhp. The polished aluminum dual plane intake mounts a Holley dual-feed carb, spark is provided by an HEI distributor and exhaust is routed through polished tube headers to a stainless exhaust. A heavy-duty aluminum radiator w/electric fan provides cooling and the transmission is a Ford C-4 3-speed automatic w/overdrive. The custom independent rear suspension mounts a 9-bolt Lincoln positraction differential with 3.55:1 gearing. Power steering and power assisted Wilwood disc brakes w/dual master have been installed. Lincoln 18” alloy wheels mount BFGoodrich radial tires. This is an F-100 like no other – you will not be disappointed. It is going to make its new owner very, very proud. Why not you?
