STK 2925 1979 Jeep CJ7
The Jeep CJ-7 was introduced in 1976 and just under 380,000 were produced over 12 years. CJ series Jeeps ruled the wilderness in the '70's and '80's - there was nothing that could match their prowess in the backcountry. That said, a nice CJ-7 is not easy to come by these days. This 1979 CJ-7 has been professionally restored (2018) with minor mechanically upgrades. Our CJ-7 has a solid, original metal body that was well prepped and resprayed Corvette blue w/metalflake. It is fitted with blue halo lighting, new step bars, a custom front bumper and rear bumper w/2” receiver and spare tire holder. An off-road jack has been mounted on the hood and a Smittybilt XRC-8 front winch has been installed. The interior floorboards have been Rhino coated, heat insulated and fitted with heavy rubber matting. Front/rear seats, dashpad and full canvas top/doors are all in good condition. Features include: AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth, roll bar, ProComp gauge package and Grant wheel. This CJ-7 is powered by an AMC 360ci V8 that was rebuilt in 2018. It is fitted with an aluminum intake, Holley 600cfm carb w/electric choke, RV Torque Cam and ceramic-coated exhaust headers. The transmission is a 3-speed 727-TorqueFlite automatic that is fitted with a new torque converter and mated to a 2-speed transfer case w/Warn manual front hubs. The rear differential features a Yukon locker unit and axles. The solid chassis has also been prepped and painted. Front/rear leaf spring suspension is basically stock with new HD shocks. Steering is power assist and 15” alloy wheels mount 35x12.5R50x15” Mickey Thompson Baja radials (5). Drum brakes (new) are also power-assist. This CJ-7 is ready for its next owner who will appreciate the great looks and muscle of this classic Jeep. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”
