350 Chevy Bored .30 Over Auto Trans 350 Turbo
STK 2942 1923 Ford T-Bucket
The style of this '23 Bucket-T roadster is distinctly old-school, but mechanically it is a modern work-of-art. The Bucket-T was built using quality parts and superb craftsmanship. Many of the body/chassis/suspension components were sourced from Speedway Motors Inc. in Lincoln, Nebraska - a rodding specialists for over 60 years. The frame assembly has a dropped front axle with transverse leaf spring/radius-rod suspension and the rear is a trailing-arm design with QAI coil-over shocks. Gloss black 'Steelies' w/'37 Ford baby moons mount 15” bias ply front tires and 8.5” Firestone 'Pie Crust' cheater slicks in the rear. Manual front discs and rear drums provide braking. The Bucket-T is powered by a rebuilt 350ci Chevy small-block bored .030 over with upgrades including a mild cam, aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb, HEI ignition, electric fan, vintage Cal Custom valve covers and 'Sprint-style' headers w/side pipes. Behind the 'mighty mouse' is a 350 Turbo automatic and 8” Ford rear-end with 3.00:1 gears. The channeled fiberglass body was carefully prepped and shot in gray primer providing the distinctive 'no-shine' finish that is old-school perfect. Accents include a stainless fuel tank and full frame windshield. There are no fenders, no top, no hood, and no need for any. A door on the passenger side provides easy access to an interior that can best be described as thoroughly basic – aluminum 'bomber' seats, Lokar floor-shift, custom cup holder and polished stainless steering column w/three-spoke steering wheel (no airbag). A Bosch classic gauge package finishes the driver's space. This Bucket-T is everything a modern 'old-school' hot rod should be and is built to drive. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
