STK 2947 2004 Ford Thunderbird
“Thunderbird - A new kind of personal car that combines sports car styling and performance with passenger car conveniences.” This was the heading on Thunderbird's sales brochure in 1955. The first T-bird rolled off the assembly line on September 9, 1954. Many configurations of that initial model followed, but our 2004 Thunderbird honors its classic roots. This totally original 2-owner roadster is a garage-kept 'like new' example of this modern luxury sports car. The car's odometer reads just over 7,000 miles and the owner states that to be actual. Both the Evening Black exterior, accented by factory aluminum alloys, and the Black Ink Imola leather interior are in excellent condition. Eleventh generation T'birds were based on Ford's 'DEW' platform used worldwide on mid-sized models. This Thunderbird is equipped with variable-assist power steering, ventilated ABS disc brakes and a host of other safety and convenience features including dual airbags, climate-controlled A/C, heated power seats, power tinted windows, tilt/telescopic wheel, power locks, power softtop, hardtop w/stand, keyless entry, cruise, anti-theft, AM/FM/CD sound system with 6-disc changer ….. and just about anything else you can imagine. As for the drivetrain, Blue Oval powerplants have come a long way since that '55 Y-block '292'. This beautiful roadster is powered by Ford's 3.9L fuel injected V-8 that produces 280bhp @ 6,000RPM. The high-revving engine is an all-aluminum DOHC design with 4-valves per cylinder and is backed by a 5-speed/OD automatic transmission and Traction Control differential. Our preferred and most secure form of payment is a bank wire transfer. We do accept checks but note that any form of a check will have a minimum hold of two business days up to 4 business days until the funds have cleared. This includes cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. We cannot accept any credit card as payment or partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
