STK 3028 1937 Cadillac Series 75 Cabriolet Limousine

The Cadillac Series 75 debuted in 1936 as a step above the entry level Series 60 models. Our very original 1937 Series 75 Town Car by Fleetwood Limousine has had only 3 owners - the current owner for the last 58 years. The car is unrestored but virtually complete in all aspects. The Cadillac has spent some time in storage and the owner has addressed some mechanical concerns that had arisen during that timeframe. Invoices have been provided that document maintenance performed on the engine/fuel systems and braking system over the last year. The Fleetwood Coachwork Town Car body is very solid, but the Black finish can at best be considered in fair condition. A tall slender grille and all of the chrome-work are in overall good condition. Accents include 'suicide rear doors', dual fender-mounted spare tires, amber fog lights, rear luggage rack and a split tinted windshield. Wide-whites on factory wheels with chrome wheel covers provide a nice classic touch. The Series 75 Town Car Limo provided separate seating areas for the driver and the passengers. The rear seating area has luxurious button-tufted upholstery and the driver holds a 'banjo' wheel and accesses a full set of original gauges. There is a roll-up window partition between the two areas that rolls up and down fine. Under the hood is the classic Cadillac 'Monobloc' flathead V8 that produces 136 hp. This 346 cu in (5.3 L) is said to have not been rebuilt, but has had recent major service w/documentation as previously noted. It is backed by a three-speed synchromesh manual gearbox and the chassis features 4-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. This classic Cadillac Series 75 Town Car Limousine could be fully restored, or just enjoyed as a nice driver. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
