The 1997 Thunderbird was the final year of production for the 10th generation. This Thunderbird LX coupe is a very nice original example. The factory Vibrant White exterior has been well maintained and the rear deck spoiler provides a sharp accent. Thunderbird 15” chrome alloy wheels mount nice Michelin radials. The medium blue cloth interior is all-original and is in very good condition. Convenience features include A/C, analog gauge package, power driver seat, cruise, tilt wheel, power tinted glass, power locks/trunk and an AM/FM/Cassette stereo system. Dual front airbags are standard equipment and our coupe is also equipped with a smoked glass sunroof. The T'bird is powered by Ford's 4.6L SOHC V8 w/factory EEC-V induction that is rated at 205bhp/280lb/ft. It is backed by a 4-speed automatic w/overdrive and according to the data plate open-differential gearing is 3.27:1 (W5). Chassis features include speed-sensitive power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes. Front suspension is spring/strut and an independent multi-link configuration is used in the rear. Front and rear stabilizer bars are standard equipment. This LX is an outstanding 10th generation Thunderbird and should sell quickly. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.

Our preferred and most secure form of payment is a bank wire transfer. We do accept checks but note that any form of a check will have a minimum hold of two business days up to 4 business days until the funds have cleared. This includes cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. We cannot accept any credit card as payment or partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
Typographical errors do happen. AutoBarn Classic Cars is not responsible for any such errors in the description or list price for any vehicle.
