STK 3187 1930 Chrysler 66 CJ

This 1930 Chrysler 66CJ Coupe has been with the owner for over 45 years and was the beneficiary of a partial restoration in 1972. The body's rust-free exterior was painted a distinctive Dark Blue with Gloss Black fenders. This may or may not have been the original color combination, but if not, it should have been. There is a beautiful fully functional rumble seat and both running boards are straight and true. The body has subtle pin-stripping and a new top insert was installed. All of the bright work including the stunning grill is in good condition and there is a rear-mounted spare tire. The Chrysler's interior has also been carefully refreshed with classic pleated black vinyl upholstery. The rumble seat has also been reupholstered in pleated black vinyl and the handsome steering wheel is in fine shape. A 195ci flathead six powers this vintage Chrysler. We do not believe that the engine has been rebuilt, but it runs fine. Output was rated at 65hp and it is backed by a 3-speed manual unsynchronized gearbox with floor shift. The chassis is very solid with 4-wheel hydraulic drum brakes and original 19” wooden-spoke wheels and bias-ply tires. This classic '30 Chrysler coupe is a piece of art, but you can also open the rumble seat and head to the next hometown parade or summer cruise-in. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
