STK 3185 1931 Ford Sedan Hot Rod

This 1931 Ford Tudor street rod is not a standard restoration project. If you decide to street rod from a classic like this, there are many directions you can go. The builder of this Ford was truly an engineer - a street rod engineer. Having decades of history in NASCAR gave him insight as to the correct way to design and build one of the best-fabricated street rods that you will ever find. A street rod begins with the chassis and Pete and Jake's supply the best frames in town. A solid Model A body was brought in from Nevada - dry and rust free. The top was mildly chopped, fitted to the frame and painted in sophisticated Black Primer. (This street rod was not envisioned pretty, just right.) The front suspension is a four-bar coil-over design with a Super Bell front axle and a Shroeder 'sprintcar' steering setup. The rear axle is a Halibrand quick-change differential with coil-over springs and 3.54:1 gears. The chassis is fitted with manual 4-wheel disc brakes and 'Salt Flat' 16” aluminum knock-off wheels that mount Firestone bias ply tires. Horsepower is supplied by a professionally built 350ci Oldsmobile powerplant. The Olds is fitted with a 180 degree 'flat-plane' performance crankshaft, RHS aluminum heads and Comp roller cam. This is a beast of a motor. An MSD ignition furnishes fire and the aluminum intake w/dual feed 4bbl. was hand-fabricated. Exhaust is routed through block–hugger headers to a custom dual exhaust. The 'Rocket V8' is backed by a G-Force 5-speed gearbox w/overdrive that is fitted with Hurst Roll/Control and Line Lock brake. The interior is totally restored in beautiful 'Lipstick Red' leather. Seating, storage area, doorcards and headliner – all top shelf. There are racing seat belts, a custom spoke wheel and a full set of gauges including a GPS speedometer and memory-recall tachometer. One additional comfort option is also included - the heater and air conditioning package. This '31 Ford is one of the best-engineered street rods you will ever find. Come in and inspect it - you will not be disappointed. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”
