Description

Restored 2016
201 ci 4-cylinder w/ Electric Starter

STK 3239 1930 Ford Model A Phaeton

The restoration of this 1930 Ford Phaeton can only be described with one word – superb. Most of the restoration process took place in 2016 and there was nothing left to chance. The body's exterior was professionally repainted in a classic two-tone combination. All the bright work, including the stunning grill, is in excellent condition. Dual spare tires adorn the running boards and there is a huge 'accessory trunk' strapped to the folding rear platform. A Phaeton folding top is in excellent condition. Our Model A's interior has been meticulously restored with classic pleated black vinyl upholstery. The handsome steering wheel, door cards and chrome gauge cluster are in outstanding condition. This vintage Phaeton is powered by Ford's 201ci 4-cylinder engine w/electric starter that is said to have been totally rebuilt - sounds great, as only a flathead can. Output was rated at 40hp and it is backed by a 3-speed manual gearbox with floor shift. The spotless chassis is equipped with 4-wheel mechanical drum brakes, leaf spring suspension and 30-spoke yellow metal wire wheels that mount 19” Firestone tires. This classic Model A Phaeton is a living piece of art that would look right at home in your Blue Oval garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
