STK 3318 1981 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais
The Oldsmobile Cutlass nameplate has been used by Oldsmobile for generations on many distinct models. This 1981 Cutlass Calais was built on the GM 'G-body' chassis and proudly carries on the Cutlass namesake. An original survivor, the Olds is in very good condition. The owner states that the odometer reading of just over 43,000 miles is actual, but we have no documentation. The factory Light Blue lacquer finish exterior is in good condition and is complimented by a dark blue landau vinyl roof. Factory steel wheels with distinctive optional wire-wheel covers mount Optimo whitewall radials complete the exterior package. Luxurious original seating is upholstered in blue suede and shows very little wear. Convenience features include AM/FM sound system, power-tinted windows, cruise control and factory air conditioning (needs TLC). Additional features include console w/shifter, factory gauge package w/tach, burlwood dash trim and a leather/alloy sport wheel on a tilt column. Horsepower is furnished by a 3.8L V6 sourced from the Buick Division of General Motors. Fitted with a Rochester 2-barrel carburetor, this efficient motor produces 110hp and 190 lb/ft. Torque is delivered through a three-speed overdrive automatic gearbox to a stock rear differential. The chassis of the Caliss model is equipped with power steering, power disc/drum brakes and front/rear stabilizer bars. A new fuel tank and new exhaust system have also been installed. Our preferred and most secure form of payment is a bank wire transfer. We do accept checks but note that any form of a check will have a minimum hold of two business days up to 4 business days until the funds have cleared. This includes cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. We cannot accept any credit card as payment or partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
