235ci Inline 6/ 12 Volt System / 3 Speed on the Column Polished Oak Bed
STK 3921 1954 Chevrolet 3100 5-Window
The view through the windshield of this 1954 Chevrolet 3100 is pretty amazing. Chevrolet never produced a factory unit that could compete with this 5-window pick-up. We guarantee that everyone with a 'jacked-up Silverado' will stare in admiration. From the polished oak bed to the handsome Burgundy/Black finish, the careful restoration (2015) was very well done. All of the chrome looks virtually new and Coker wide-white radials on factory steel wheels with caps and trim rings complete the package. The interior is as nice as the exterior. A comfortable bench seat is finished in period correct vinyl. The stunning dash is fitted with a full set of Dakota 'classic' gauges. The heater fan motor has also been recently replaced and adjustable side vent windows provide cooling.
A carefully detailed engine compartment sports a 235ci six-cylinder engine that is equipped with a Pertronix ignition, aluminum radiator and dual exhaust. It is backed by a 3-speed manual transmission that utilizes column shift. The chassis is equipped with 4-wheel drum brakes and leaf spring suspension. A major service has recently been performed on the truck that included all new brake components, new clutch/pressure plate and minor transmission work (comprehensive receipts provided). The entire truck has also been professionally rewired for a 12-volt alternator based electrical system. This Chevy 3100 has been pampered by the current owner and if you act post-haste it could be your turn next - you will not be disappointed. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
