STK 3937 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air
This 1955 Chevrolet BelAir 2-door post is a perfect example of the 'first' Tri-Five Chevy. From the beautiful paint, to the stunning interior, to the powerful drivetrain, this '55 is top-shelf. A complete restoration produced a handsome Chevrolet with thoughtful upgrades. (The Owner has provided a comprehensive binder of receipts, documentation and a '55 Owner's Manual.) The exterior was professionally refinished and is in outstanding condition, as is all new chrome and stainless trim. This BelAir sits period-correct on an upgraded suspension and polished forged 'M-One' US Mags (17f/18r”) that mount virtually new red-line radials. The interior can best be described as outstanding. The stunning high-grade red vinyl upholstery is paired with flawless pile carpeting. A custom alloy spoke wheel is mounted on a tilt column and a Classic Instruments analog gauge package has been fitted to the dash pod. Enjoy the ride with cold A/C, tinted windows (power front) and an AM/FM sound system.
The impressive engine compartment is home to a 283ci small-block that was totally rebuilt in 2024. It is fitted with an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley dual-feed carb and mild street cam. Other features include a March Performance serpentine belt system and engine dress-up package. Exhaust is routed through Chevy 'rams-horn' manifolds to a custom dual exhaust system, and it sounds wonderful. An aluminum radiator w/electric fan provides cooling and the Mighty Mouse is backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic. This BelAir looks flawless from any angle – even below. The chassis has been nicely detailed and incorporates power steering, power slotted disc/drum brakes w/dual master and a new fuel tank. Suspension components have been replaced/upgraded including a heavy-duty front sway bar. The differential is carried by leaf springs and contains street gears. This is an extraordinary '55 BelAir. Words don't do it justice - it must be seen to be appreciated. Any one of us would be proud to have this Tri-Five Chevy in the driveway. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
