STK 3968 1932 Ford Dearborn Deuce Roadster

The 1932 Ford roadster is one of the most iconic cars in American automotive history. Produced by Ford during the Great Depression, the '32 Ford Model B (referred to simply as the 'Deuce') became the foundation for a car culture that would revolutionize the automotive landscape. The Deuce is notable for its timeless styling, clean lines and signature grille and has always been a favorite among custom car builders and designers alike.

This top-shelf '32 Ford Highboy is a 'Dearborn Deuce' reproduction. The Dearborn Deuce was developed as a joint venture between ASC (American Specialty Cars) and Hot Rods & Horsepower. The primary product was an all-steel reproduction '32 roadster body that could be customized with modern components. This one-owner masterpiece was built by Frank Hager of Greenville, SC and remained as part of his personal collection. The fender-less body is a quality piece and a Dark Blue basecoat/clearcoat finish was professionally applied and is outstanding. The custom ragtop/frame is 'lift-off' removable and American Racing alloy wheels mount Kumho performance radials. The beautiful '32 grill is flanked by 'post-mount' headlights for a classic hot rod look and front suspension components have received the full chrome treatment. In order to enhance the driving experience, there is a stunning custom interior. Handsome tan leather upholstery is fitted w/seat belts and features include power windows, electric door poppers, Lokar shifter and a chromed tilt steering column that mounts an alloy spoke wheel. Moon gauges are installed in the turned dash pod and the rear storage compartment is meticulously finished. Finally, this roadster is 'radio delete' to eliminate useless banter unrelated to performance.

Horsepower is furnished by a built 383ci Chevy small-block that is fitted with an aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, HEI ignition, street cam, shorty headers and polished stainless exhaust system. The Chevy sits in a virtually spotless engine compartment and is fully chrome-dressed. Cooling is managed by a heavy-duty radiator and electric fan. Behind the powerful 'mouse' is a 3-speed automatic gearbox that feeds torque to a rebuilt 9” Ford differential. The spotless custom chassis integrates rack-pinion steering and power disc/drum brakes. A sophisticated suspension utilizes a dropped I-beam front axle and hairpin radius rods. The rear incorporates triangulated 4-link suspension w/adjustable coil-over shocks. For enthusiasts, the 1932 Ford Roadster Is the epitome of style, performance, and the spirit of individualism that defines the hot rod culture. This handsome '32 Dearborn Deuce must be seen to be appreciated - it will soon make one new owner very proud. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”
