The handsome orange vinyl interior incorporates a full chromoly roll cage w/breakaway bars designed by HR Racecars,. The detail of this one-off Hugger Orange interior is amazing.
Horsepower is provided by a fresh 499ci BBC. The motor has been carefully prepared for ultimate performance by Hammerhead Performance. Dyno sheets included show 854hp/669lb/ft. Some of the mechanical elements include:
• 4-Bolt GM BBC

(This engine is said to run fine on the street with pump gas, with an additive.) The Sid Neal Racing PowerGlide has 1.80 straight cut gears and is mated to a PTC convertor. It is fitted with a Hughs trans brake and Derale cooler w/fans. Shifting is handled by a B&M Pro Stick with a Shifnoid electric solenoid. A 3.5” steel drive shaft delivers torque to a HR Racecar custom braced 12-bolt Chevy spool-differential w/33-spline Stange axles and 4.10:1 gears. The chassis is fitted with rack and pinion manual steering, Competition Engineering ladder bars, multi-link/coil-over rear suspension and brakes are manual Areospace front discs with aluminum drums on the rear. Upon completion, HR Racecars carefully scaled and 4-corner weight-adjusted the Nova – it hooks hard and goes straight.
This Nova is a very unique piece for getting down the road. The owner has furnished much more information relating to the build in carefully documented folders that come with the car. He will also be available to discuss the car and answer any questions that a potential buyer may have. There was never an 'Option Code' on Chevrolet's 1971 order sheet for this amazing Nova – it is one-of-a-kind and is going to make its new owner very, very proud. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
