239ci Flathead / 3 Speed Manual on the Column $210/Month
STK 4034 1952 Ford Mainline
Ford introduced their post-war sedans in 1949. They were dubbed the 'shoebox' Fords and were the most modern looking vehicle produced in the era. Ford introduced a new front-end with 'dual spinner' grill that made the car appear much wider than previous models. This 1952 Ford Mainline Business Coupe has received a partial restoration (2010) back to virtually original. The exterior was refinished in Sheraton Blue that is in very good condition. It is nicely accented by handsome chrome/stainless, the classic grill and 15” steel rims with beauty rings/small caps that mount Coker American Classic wide-whites. The handsome interior was partially refreshed using new gray cloth upholstery and added seat belts. The classic dashboard looks much like it did in 1952 including an AM radio and heater that function well. This Business Coupe is powered by Ford's 239ci flathead V8 rated at 100bhp. It is said to have never been rebuilt and sounds great. The fuel system has been recently upgraded with a Dennis Carpenter Ford carburetor, new fuel pump and new tank w/sending unit. Other upgrades include new/rebuilt distributor, generator (6-volt), voltage regulator, radiator/hoses and dual exhaust. The flathead is backed by a 3-speed manual transmission with column shift. New four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes provide stopping power. The trunk holds a jack and new spare tire. A Service Manual is also included. This is solid classic Ford that is ready to roll. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
