STK 4080 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
The 1966 Corvette Sting Ray was a second-generation model, renowned for its sleek styling and powerful performance. It continued the iconic C2 design introduced in 1963, all destined to become classics. This '66 matching-numbers roadster was the beneficiary of a professional frame-off restoration using all OEM-grade parts. No detail was spared. The classic body with virtually perfect gaps was refinished in two-stage Nassau Blue and it is outstanding. Chrome and stainless are excellent and factory wheels w/original spinner hubcaps mount Hankook radials. The Corvette is equipped with a fiberglass hardtop and a black manual convertible top that is in virtually new condition. The black leather interior has also been meticulously restored back-to-original. All gauges appear to be working properly and a factory AM/FM sound system w/power antenna provides your tunes. Dash, trim, door panels and carpeting are all in excellent condition. A handsome reproduction wooden wheel is mounted on a telescopic column. This amazing Corvette recently won the trophy for Best Custom Class Corvette at the Rick Hendricks Car Show.
The owner states that the entire drivetrain of this Corvette is matching-numbers. The engine is a 327/350hp small-block that has received a professional rebuild by Built Right Performance Engines, Parkville, MO. It is equipped with the factory intake, a Holley 4-barrel carburetor, distributor w/tach drive and chrome wiring shields. Detail is precise. This Mouse sounds great through a new exhaust system - very mellow. It is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission and original posi-traction differential with what is believed to be 3.73:1 gears. A spotless chassis is equipped with power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes w/dual master. All front/rear suspension components have been replaced with quality parts. If you have been thinking about investing in a classic C2 Corvette, you should consider this outstanding, professionally restored '66 roadster. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
