Stk 2296 1951 Chevrolet Coupe
This Chevrolet Styleside Sports Coupe is a solid example of a classic Chevy. Originally a west coast car, it moved east in 2003 and received a full frame-off restoration. According to the current owner, the Chevy then spent quite a few years in a classic car museum before he purchased it. The current mileage of just over 67k is said to be actual. The restoration included a respray of Black enamel and the eye-catching exterior is accented with nice chrome, factory hubcaps/trim rings and wide-white 15” 4-ply tires. There is also a classic windshield shade and rear fender skirts. The restored grey cloth interior has new seats, carpet, door panels and headliner. A stunning dash retains the original instrumentation, clock, heater controls and even a service record plaque that reads 52,000 miles in 1983. The AM radio looks factory, but has been cleverly converted to an AM/FM unit. This solid Styleside is powered by a 216ci straight-six, housed in a detailed engine compartment, that the owner believes has never required a rebuild. The engine appears to be original except for the dual exhaust system with split-headers was installed to provide better breathing. Behind the 'stovebolt' sits a 3-speed manual with column shift. Our preferred and most secure form of payment is a bank wire transfer. We do accept checks but note that any form of a check will have a minimum hold of two business days up to 4 business days until the funds have cleared. This includes cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. We cannot accept any credit card as payment or partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
