1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Fuelie Tribute

Description

Fuelie Tribute, Small Block 283
$1,013/month *See finance page for disclaimer

1957 Bel Air Convertible with Fuel-Injection -

The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is a legendary symbol of the American classic car culture. The '57 was the final year of Chevrolet's “Tri-Five” series (1955–1957) and is widely regarded as the most stylish of the three. The Bel Air featured bold design elements such as a wide chrome grille, prominent tailfins, hooded headlights, and distinctive gold anodized trim. This stunning '57 Bel Air is a beautiful tribute of sorts, a tribute to the rarest of '57s – the Fuel Injected convertible. It is believed that the factory produced only 68 of these iconic models, and this Bel Air pays homage to each.

Top-Shelf Restoration -

The owner states that the Chevy was the beneficiary of a meticulous frame-off restoration in 2014. (A binder of restoration receipts/service is included with the car.) The Onyx Black exterior was professionally reshot with a 2-stage finish. The exceptional body is stunning, and all chrome/trim looks new. Steel wheels display factory spinner hubcaps and mount 14” wide-white bias-ply tires. The continental tire package, dual rear antennae and gold accent trim complete the handsome exterior. The only thing that rivals the exterior is the restored interior. Every detail has been addressed. Matador Red/Silver upholstery, door cards, dashboard, carpeting – all look virtually new. The dash even holds the original model AM radio. A new convertible top is power assisted and folds neatly into a storage area that is fitted with a classic tonneau cover.

Small-Block 283 with Rochester FI -

Based on the owner's input, horsepower is furnished by a rebuilt 283ci engine that is equipped with 'Power Pack' bump-heads and Rochester fuel injection. It has the muted rumble of a Gen1 small block through a mellow dual exhaust system. The 283 is backed by a 2-speed PowerGlide that shifts smoothly. The chassis looks just as nice as the exterior and is equipped with power steering and 4-wheel manual drum brakes.

This handsome Bel Air convertible is a classic showroom piece that continues to increase in value - it belongs in your Bowtie garage.
