Description

Stk. 2253 1998 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

This 1998 Corvette roadster is a beautiful example of an extremely popular model. It is hard to believe that it has been 20 years since the birth of the C5. These roadsters utilized the same rigid chassis configuration as the coupe and as a result were much stronger than any earlier Corvette model. The C5 is calm and collected even on rough pavement, displaying none of the body tremors that most drop-tops exhibit. This classic convertible is quite an attention getter. The original Black finish has been well maintained and the Camel leather interior is in very good condition. A stock 5.7L LS1 engine that produces 345 BHP @5600 RPM utilizing the Sequential Multi-Port Injection System (MPI) powers the roadster. The torque is delivered through a 4L60-E 4-speed automatic gearbox. All C5s are equipped with power steering and ABS power disc brakes. The road wheels are very distinctive 5-spoke chrome alloys. These Corvettes deliver all of the convenience features as standard equipment including: air conditioning, AM/FM/CD, memory-power seats, power locks, keyless entry, power windows, tilt wheel and cruise control. The manually operated black soft-top takes less than 30 seconds to raise/lower. In addition, there is a trunk that will actually hold two sets of golf clubs - first time since 1962. This appealing Corvette will certainly relocate to a new garage very soon - hopefully yours. Call 800-650-1055 or visit our website at www.autobarnclassiccars.com for additional information.
