This Ford F-150 SVT Lighting was Ford's performance truck in '99. They were based on the F-150 short-bed frame with Sport Side styling - sat low and looked mean. Good looks aside, this sharp 1999 SVT Lightning is all about energy. Horsepower is provided by the Blue Oval Triton 5.4 liter SOHC V-8. It is factory equipped with an Eaton Roots-style super-charger (8psi), steel crank, aluminum heads and sequential fuel injection. Standard equipment includes HD cooling package, oil cooler and transmission cooler. Output is 360bhp and 440 lb/ft of torque - this truck will run. The Triton V8 is mated to a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and factory 3.55:1 limited-slip differential with 9.75" ring gear. Stopping power is provided by 4-wheel ABS disc brakes with vented discs and twin piston front calipers. The Lightning is painted Ford Bright Red (mostly original paint) and ION 20" chrome alloy wheels mount Michelin radials. There is also an Access 'Literider' fiberglass bed cover, fog lights and a towing package. Its nice interior is all-original except for new black leather seating and carpeting (2015). The 60/40 seat incorporates a flip-up arm rest. Sounds are provided by a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo system. Convenience and safety equipment includes: air conditioning, power steering, driver/passenger airbags, power tinted windows, power locks, keyless entry, anti-theft, power 6-way driver seat, tilt wheel and cruise. Our preferred and most secure form of payment is a bank wire transfer. We do accept checks but note that any form of a check will have a minimum hold of two business days up to 4 business days until the funds have cleared. This includes cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. We cannot accept any credit card as payment or partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
