1950 Ford Custom Convertible

Description

Stk 2408 1950 Ford Custom Convertible

This beautiful, partially restored 1950 Ford Custom Convertible has been in the current owner's possession for the last 20 years. The odometer reading of 71,300 miles is believed to be actual. The body has a fresh coat of the original Cambridge Maroon paint (2008) and it is outstanding. Accents include Ford Custom trim, fender skirts, wide-whites on factory steel wheels with trim rings/dish hubcaps and 'bar-style' bumper guards. The interior is all-original and in very good condition. The leather seats are still impressive and the classic dashboard and steering wheel are time-honored 1950's Ford. Chrome is excellent and a tight fitting convertible top is power operated. Horsepower is delivered by the original flathead 239ci V8 that our owner believes to have never been rebuilt and still provides a sound like no other. The column shifter handles a 3-speed manual gearbox w/OD and 4-wheel hydraulic drums provide braking. This is more than a classic Blue-Oval - it is an experience that will not disappoint.
