STK 2437 1966 Ford Mustang

The first generation Mustang was manufactured from March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the 'pony car'. The Mustang's styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of competition. This handsome 1966 Mustang coupe has had a nice partial restoration. The solid body was professionally reshot in original Silver Blue finish (Y code). A black vinyl top is in excellent condition and new chrome bumpers have been recently installed. Period-correct 15” Mustang 'Magnum 500' chrome wheels mount BFGoodrich redline radials tires. The interior was fully restored using Mustang “Pony” seat upholstery and new carpeting. There is fully functional A/C system, a complete set of factory gauges and a classic 'wood' 3-spoke wheel. A new aftermarket AM sound system delivers your tunes. This Mustang was a 'C' code car from the factory – 289/2V (we do not know if this is the original block). It currently incorporates an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4-barrel and MSD ignition. The Windsor sounds great though a stainless dual exhaust setup and torque is delivered via a 3-speed automatic gearbox. The solid chassis has power steering and upgraded power-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes with dual master cylinder. If you want a fun, classic Blue Oval, this sharp Mustang coupe has your name on it.
