Stk. 2512 1965 Chevrolet C10 Resto-Mod
Chevrolet referred to their 1st generation C-10 pickups as 'WorkPower' trucks. They were energized by in-line six cylinders engines, or 283/327 V8s at best. It is documented that none rolled off the assembly line with a factory 'Rat' motor. Big block performance was reserved for the Impala, Chevelle or Corvette. Our classic 1965 C-10 Stepside is a true Resto-mod with striking good looks and even better performance. This C-10 experienced a meticulous frame-off restoration in 2017 – every undercarriage bolt/nut is stainless. The perfectly straight exterior was refinished in stunning matte finish 'Eleanor Grey' with black accents and the classic bed was re-floored in rare Sapele wood that looks better than mahogany. The handsome Saddletan/Grey leather interior is incredibly luxurious, but all business with a full compliment of AutoMeter Classic gauges well positioned in a custom wood dash to monitor engine functions. There is an AM/FM stereo, Vintage Air, tilt 'banjo' wheel and tinted glass. Under the hood is a 496ci stroker crate motor built by BluePrint Engines, Kearney, NE. BluePrint has been building performance crate engines for over 20 years. The blueprinted big block is equipped with cast steel crank, Hypereutectic pistons, GM iron oval port 2.25/1.88 heads, .552/.555 flat tappet hydraulic cam, medium-rise intake and shorty headers. Engine documentation is included along with the BluePrint dyno-sheets that confirm 483bhp/567lb/ft. This is a serious street motor. The engine is backed by a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission and 10-bolt posi w/3.73:1 gears. Rocket Racing alloy spoke wheels are fitted with new Pirelli radials. A complete Classic performance products (CPP) suspension package has added superb handling with a lowered stance (front/rear) and heavy-duty sway bars. The chassis incorporates power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes with a dual master. This beautiful, fully restored Resto-mod is a well thought-out performance machine. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
