STK 2519 1965 Ford Falcon Futura

The clean lines of the '64/'65 Ford Falcon deliver a strong visual impact and this handsome 1965 Falcon coupe, carefully restored in 2014, is a classic example. Starting with a rust-free 92K car, the solid body was reshot in 2-stage NAPA Pacific Blue - a high quality professional job. Chrome and stainless are excellent and period-correct 14” Ford Magnum wheels mount Cooper Lifeliner radials. The interior was fully restored in black vinyl. Door panels, headliner and carpeting are all outstanding and all rubber/gaskets have been replaced. A nice alloy steering wheel and 'hypodermic' shifter are perfect interior accents. The original radio is still in the dash and a JVC AM/FM/CD system has also been installed. This 'U' code Falcon came from the factory with a 170ci straight six engine, but it has been given new life with a drivetrain donated by a '65 Mustang 'A'-code. The totally rebuilt 289ci powerplant has a mild cam, Edelbrock 600CFM carburetor and electronic ignition. This nicely-dressed small-block sounds great through tube headers and Magnaflow exhaust. Torque is delivered by a 4-speed top-loader manual transmission with new clutch/pressure plate to an 8” Ford differential that houses 3.23:1 gears. Suspension upgrades include HD front sway bar, Monte Carlo bar, new shocks and new engine cradle. Steering is manual and brakes are power-assisted front disc/rear drum. Look at the photos again - if you want a solid, fun Blue Oval, this sharp '65 Falcon has your name on it. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
