This 1972 BMW 2002 sedan was 100% professionally built from the ground up and then campaigned by the same driver/owner for the last 13 years. It is a proven racecar that qualifies for competition in the B-Sedan class of the SVRA Vintage Race Series and also conforms to 'B-Series 1969-1972' specs. The 2002 has competed at many tracks around the country including Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen, Sebring, Summit Point, Indy, Mid-Ohio and COTA-F1. It has been prepared and maintained by APEX Vintage Racing, Raleigh, NC and in its last 37 races this consistent BMW 2002 B-Sedan has placed: 1st (19); 2nd (6); 3rd(7). In 2018, the BMW earned an SVRA Region B-Sedan Championship and a 2nd place in the SVRA Nationals awarded at Austin, TX. We perform an extensive visual inspection on all vehicles we represent, but we do not disassemble vehicles or components for inspection purposes and therefore, it is always possible there is hidden damage that is not readily apparent.

Our preferred and most secure form of payment is a bank wire transfer. We do accept checks but note that any form of a check will have a minimum hold of two business days up to 4 business days until the funds have cleared. This includes cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. We cannot accept any credit card as payment or partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
Typographical errors do happen. AutoBarn Classic Cars is not responsible for any such errors in the description or list price for any vehicle.
