STK 2550 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Convertible

It is not easy to find a solid Gen1 Chevelle convertible - they are very rare indeed. This 1964 Chevelle Malibu ragtop is an outstanding example of the first year of production for the Chevelle model. It was the beneficiary of a partial restoration in 2010. The Bright Yellow exterior (2007 Corvette) was professionally re-sprayed and all chrome is excellent. Accents include a raised fiberglass hood, tinted windows, new 17” US Mags 'Rambler' chrome wheels and Delinte Performance radials. The refreshed black cloth/vinyl interior includes new upholstery, SunPro gauges and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo system. A nice convertible top is manually operated. The factory engine was replaced with a 350ci small block that was rebuilt in 2010. It is mated to a 3-speed THM350 Turbo-Hydramatic. Fuel is furnished by an Edelbrock 4-barrel that sits on a high-rise intake and exhaust exits thru GM manifolds to a free-flowing system. The chassis is equipped with power steering and power disc/drum brakes. This rare Malibu convertible is a nice drivable package, a very affordable classic Bowtie for your garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
