STK 2573 1981 Chevrolet Corvette

This 1981 Corvette coupe was partially restored in 2011 and is a prime example of the C3 model. The consigner believes that the odometer reading of just over 40,000 miles is actual. A professional respray is in good condition and is accented by smoked glass (CC1 code) roof panels. The matching red leather interior was also totally refreshed. Seat covers, seat bolsters, carpeting and dash-pad are all in good condition and the gauges are in working order. Other comfort options include: AM/FM/cassette stereo, power tinted windows, power driver seat, cruise, power locks, tilt wheel, and cold air-conditioning. The owner states that the engine is the original L-81 350ci that has not been rebuilt. This small-block is configured with GM's Computer Command Control (CCC) system and produces 190bhp and 280lb/ft of torque. A 3-speed Turbo-Hydramatic TH350c transmission is factory-fitted with a lockup torque converter that functions in 2nd and 3rd gears and delivers power to a posi-traction 2.87:1 rear end. The chassis is equipped with power steering and the power brakes utilize 11.75” discs with 4-piston calipers on all four corners. This was also the first year that the Corvette was fitted with a mono-leaf fiberglass rear spring. Finally, like-new Goodyear Eagle GTII tires are mounted on factory 15” aluminum wheels. We believe that this Corvette C3 will not be here long. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
