1971 Ford Thunderbird Landau

Description

Low Miles
1 of 503 Produced of Color Code

STK 2605 1971 Ford Thunderbird Landau

This classic, unmolested 1971 Thunderbird Landau appears to have been taken directly from a time capsule (Marti report available). The speedometer reads 52,800 miles and may very likely be original miles. Look at the photos. This beautiful 4-door sedan utilizes the suicide door configuration prominent on Lincoln's of the day. This was the last year that this format was used on the Thunderbird. The original White finish and contrasting vinyl top are both in excellent condition. Inside, the black cloth/vinyl Brougham split bench seat interior is in virtually showroom condition. This Thunderbird is equipped with Selectaire air conditioning, tinted glass, AM/FM stereo, tilt wheel and cruise control. Additional features include power-assist windows, locks and antenna. The Landau is powered by what appears to be the factory Thunder Jet 429ci V8 that is still running perfectly. It is backed by Ford's 3-speed C-6 Select-Shift automatic and 2.75:1 Traction-Loc differential. The fifth-generation Thunderbird was body-on-frame construction and the chassis was equipped with coil springs at all four corners and fitted with power steering and power front disc /rear drum brakes. Tires are new 15” Hankook radials. The Thunderbird 4-dr sedan was not a high volume model. Production numbers were just over 6,500 units for the 1971 model and this is one of only 503 produced in this color code (1619-A). There are virtually no other Landau sedans out here in this condition. This beautiful Thunderbird would look very stately in your Blue Oval garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
