Just Rebuilt 350 Engine A/C & Custom Dash Gauges
STK 2612 1986 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS
This 1986 Monte Carlo SS is an outstanding example of a Gen4 Monte Carlo. Careful thought was put into the partial restoration that included substantial mechanical upgrades. The body was refinished in original White with a raised fiberglass hood, subtle pin-stripping and smoked glass T-tops (with covers). Front/rear Super Sport accents are stellar and BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires mounted on Billet Specialties wheels give the Monte Carlo an old-school stance. The comfortable interior is original grey cloth with reclining bucket seats. Our classic Monte Carlo is equipped with air conditioning (needs some attention), AM/FM/CD stereo, power tinted windows and tilt wheel. The SS option adds a center console and floor mounted shifter. Factory instrumentation has been replaced with a package of iEquuss Performance 'White Series' gauges – a professional installation. Horsepower is furnished by a rebuilt 350ci small-block fitted with mild L-79 cam/lifters, Edelbrock carb/intake, MSD distributor and Hedman headers to a free flow exhaust. The small-block is backed by a rebuilt Turbo 200-4R 3-speed automatic transmission. A GM 10-bolt rear with 8-1/2” ring gear drives Moser Engineering axles and an Eaton Detroit Locker differential with 4.10:1 gears. Power-assisted front discs and rear drums provide plenty of stopping power. The suspension has been upgraded with performance springs, shocks, sway bars and trailing arms. This nicely detailed Monte Carlo SS has been carefully built and is ready for the boulevard. It is going to make its new owner very proud. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
