STK 2636 1971 Chevrolet El Camino SS

The third generation El Camino began production in 1968 and continued through 1972. Bowtie folks consider these models to be the 'Best of Breed' when it comes to looks and performance. This restored (2013) 1971 El Camino SS is a solid example of this classic model. The current owner states that this car is a true SS model with just over 67,000 original miles. The professional Nevada Silver respray is accented by black SS strips and a black vinyl top in good condition. A distinctive vinyl interior was totally redone - bucket seats (replacement), dash, door cards and headliner all in very good condition. It is equipped with A/C, SS gauge package, tinted windows, tilt Grant wheel and an AM/FM stereo system. The El Camino is powered by what is stated to be the matching numbers 350ci small-block. It appears to be the L48 version that mounts a 4V Rochester Quadrajet carburetor (new). The 350 puts out 270bhp and is backed by a 3-speed 350 Turbo-HydraMatic transmission. Cooling is managed by a new radiator and the differential is a 12-bolt posi-traction unit with 3.73:1 gears. Suspension features include power steering, power disc/drum brakes and 15” Cragar S/S chrome wheels that mount Sumitumo Touring radials. Most front-end suspension components and the front brakes have been replaced. The fuel tank and fuel lines also appear to be a replacement pieces. If you are looking for a classic, original El Camino come drive this beauty - it just may just end up in your garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
