STK 2137 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air There is a book titled All Corvettes are Red. Someone should write another and title it All '57 Chevy BelAirs are Black. It is the right color. The designer of this particular work of art knew exactly how to paint the canvas. This outstanding frame-off restoration was completed for the current owner, who has owned the car for the last 33 years. The black finish is exemplary, the chrome flawless and the interior stunning. From any angle, the lines of the classic '57 BelAir are better than exellent. This BelAir sits just a little lower than the original with period-correct Chevy Rally wheels and red-line tires. Inside, the black leather interior is striking. The bucket seat configuration with console looks like a factory design and the leatherwork is faultless. The original BelAir steering wheel has been replaced with a Z-28 wheel and a full set of custom analogue gauges are mounted in the original dash. Enjoy the ride with A/C, tinted power windows, tilt wheel, power driver seat and AM/FM/CD/Changer stereo. Under the hood is a new RamJet/350/350 Fuel Injected crate motor along with a crate 700R automatic. As we said before, this '57 looks good from any angle, even from below. The chassis has been totally detailed and remains spotless. It incorporates power steering, power disc/drum brakes, upgraded suspension w/sway bars and a stainless exhaust attached to custom tube headers. The stock differential contains 3.36:1 gearing. Our preferred and most secure form of payment is a bank wire transfer. We do accept checks but note that any form of a check will have a minimum hold of two business days up to 4 business days until the funds have cleared. This includes cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. We cannot accept any credit card as payment or partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
