STK 2128 1979 MG B This classic 1979 MGB will put a smile on your face. In many ways, this model remains true to the iconic 1962 version that replaced the MGA, lightweight, responsive and sporty. However, over the years it has become quite a bit more refined. This roadster has received a full restoration. The body earned a nice respray of Cinnamon (2014) and the chrome wire wheels provide great accents. As part of the process, the black vinyl interior was returned to its original apperance. Seats, dash, carpeting and door cards are all in very good nick. In addition, the current owner has recently installed a new top. The 1.8L OHV 4-cylinder produces 95bhp, which is mroe than enough to move this roadster down the road. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly through all four synchronized gears. We have receipts showing that the car has recently received a major service, including: change all fiuids, tune-up, new batter, cooling system flush and suspension alignment. The fuel system has also received a full service: carbs, electric fuel pump and fuel tank. The owner has taken good care of this sharp MGB. Our preferred and most secure form of payment is a bank wire transfer. We do accept checks but note that any form of a check will have a minimum hold of two business days up to 4 business days until the funds have cleared. This includes cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. We cannot accept any credit card as payment or partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
