STK 2787 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible

This classic 1973 Mustang convertible is a great example of this stylish Gen I convertible. The 1973 model year was the final version of the original pony car. The Mustang brand was migrated to the 'econ-Mustang II' for the '74 model year, not a stellar decision on Ford's part. Our current owner has possessed this Mustang for 20+ years. It was the recipient of a partial restoration in the year 2000. The professional two-stage re-spray of original Gold Glow (6F) is accented by 15” Mustang Magnum wheels that mount BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires in good condition. Its original black knitted vinyl interior is in very good condition and the Mustang is equipped with factory air, AM/FM/Cassette stereo and power-assisted convertible top. This Mustang is powered by an H-code 351ci Cleveland that the owner states has been driven only 5,000 mile since a total rebuild in 2000. It has been fitted with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and Holley 600cfm 4-barrel carburetor. The factory automatic transmission for the H-code Mustang was the C6 3-speed - a stout automatic. The solid chassis is equipped with power steering, power disc/drum brakes, dual master, front sway bars and custom dual exhaust system. Our owner is now ready to pass this 'Hoss' on to its next owner - why not you? ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
