STK 2813 1935 Ford Model 48 Touring Sedan
This is a beautifully restored 1935 Ford Model 48 'Trunkback' Touring Sedan. All of the restoration work was completed in 1980 and it has been kept in a climate-controlled garage since. The sedan body is very straight with excellent panel fit. A distinctive respray of the rare original 'Vineyard Green' finish was professionally applied and is in very good condition. Chrome is outstanding with accents that include the classic 'V8' hood ornament, dual horns and dual mirrors. A black grain vinyl 'closed car top' roof is in excellent condition and set of bright green 16” spoke wheels/caps with wide-white Coker tires completes the exterior package. The interior, completely restored in handsome tan cloth, looks better than the original. A fully restored dash is excellent with working factory gauges, classic banjo wheel and cowl vent. Our owner is also including the original optional AM radio (uninstalled). This Ford is powered by a rebuilt 221ci flathead that outputs 85bhp and runs smooth as silk. Behind the flathead, the 3-speed manual transmission has the factory floor mounted shifter. Mechanical drum brakes handle stopping requirements and the 6-volt electrical system performs very well. This '35 Trunkback Touring sedan will be an excellent addition to your garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
