STK 2842 1966 Ford Mustang

1966 Mustang Coupe #2842

This partially restored (2013) 1966 Mustang Coupe is a nice example of the mid-60's classic that changed the American automotive landscape forever. The exterior has been professionally reshot in the original Emberglo finish. It is a nice 2-stage finish that is in very good condition. Period correct American Racing 'Torque Thrust' wheels mount 195/60R15 Goodyear Eagles in front and meatier 215/60R15 Michelins in the rear. Our Mustang's original 2-tone 'Pony' interior is still in good condition. Windows are tinted and sounds are provided by an aftermarket AM/FM stereo system. According to the VIN number, this C-code Mustang left the factory with the 289ci motor. The owner states that it is now powered by a rebuilt 302ci/2V Windsor that was installed in 2013. It appears and sounds to be virtually stock with the exception of a custom dual exhaust. An engine compartment chassis/tower brace has been installed along with an motor dress-up kit. This great running Windsor is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission and factory differential. Brakes are manual 4-wheel drum and steering is power assisted. This is a very nice affordable Blue Oval classic that is fun to drive. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
