Chevrolet debuted the Impala as their top-line model in 1958 and it became an established moniker for Chevrolet for decades. This Impala Super Sport (code 66) is a great example of one of Chevrolet's best looking full-size models. A full restoration has been performed and this Impala SS is striking. As can be seen in the pictures, the exterior is straight and true. A professional 2-stage Danube Blue respray is in excellent condition, as is all chrome and stainless. Steel wheels w/full spinner SS hubcaps mount virtually new Michelin 'Rainforce' whitewall radials. The beautiful fully restored interior was reupholstered in light blue vinyl. Factory bucket seats are complimented by a full console w/floor shift. Dash, carpeting, headliner, door cards, tinted windows – all top shelf. A factory 'Manifold Vacuum' gauge and AM radio are installed in the dash. Horsepower is furnished by a 327ci small-block that is equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor and sounds strong through dual exhaust. A PowerGlide 2-speed automatic delivers torque to a factory differential. The clean chassis is equipped with power steering, power 4-wheel drum brakes, coil spring suspension, front sway bar and a new fuel tank. Our preferred and most secure form of payment is a bank wire transfer. We do accept checks but note that any form of a check will have a minimum hold of two business days up to 4 business days until the funds have cleared. This includes cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. We cannot accept any credit card as payment or partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
