Description

STK 3414 1954 Ford F-100

Look at the photos of this 1954 Ford F-100 Resto-Mod - the attention to detail on this truck is unbelievable. From the beautiful paint, to the stunning interior, to the powerful drivetrain, this truck is an example of how to design and build a top-shelf Resto-Mod. The owner has many 'Best of Show' trophies along with binders of restoration documentation/photos. (The Ford has also been featured in numerous 'Fatman Fabrication' magazine ads over the last few years.)

A full restoration was completed in 2018. The all-steel body was meticulously prepped and received a virtually flawless coat of Sunset Bronze Mica (Lexus/Toyota) paint. This Dupont Chromabase finish is impregnated with microscopic Polymer Powder and it is amazing. A spotless bed is fitted with beautiful 'curly maple' flooring that blends seamlessly with the exterior/interior colors and Boze alloy wheels mount Continental performance radials. The stunning TMI interior features Brown/Tan leather upholstery and a custom dash sports a complete package of analogue/digital gauges and tilt column w/leather wrapped spoke wheel. A Vintage Air system and smoked windows keep you cool. Upholstery, door cards, headliner, custom carpeting – all top shelf.

Under the front tilt hood is a built Ford 408ci stroker motor. The 351ci block was donated by a '95 F-150 and is now fitted with forged Eagle crank, forged H-beam rods and forged Mahle pistons. This balanced rotating assembly is held together with ARP bolts and topped by aluminum Air Flow Research 205cc SBF Renegade Race Heads (1450). Fuel is furnished by a FITech-Go fuel injection/engine management system and Comp (.572/.600) roller cam w/roller rockers. Exhaust is routed through ceramic coated Kooks headers to a 3” stainless system. Cooling is managed by a HD polished aluminum radiator with Derale electric fans and the owner states that output is north of 600 horsepower. The powerplant is backed by a built 4-speed AOD automatic w/billet components and a 2600 stall convertor. A 31-spline Ford 8.8” positraction differential, donated by a Ford Explorer, is fitted with 3.73:1 gears. This menacing Resto-Rod rests on the original F-100 frame, boxed and reinforced, with Fatman Fabrications components. It utilizes a Mustang II rack/pinion power steering set-up, 4-wheel drilled/slotted Wilwood power disc brakes and custom fuel tank. The front suspension is QA-1coil-over w/HD sway bar and the rear is multi-link with QA-1 coil-over shocks and Panhard bar. This 2800+ hour build was designed and built to perfection by the current owner. It was completed in 2018, but looks like it was finished yesterday – the F-100 will be the centerpiece of your Blue Oval garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”
