Description

2017 Restored
331 Stroker Windsor

STK 2938 1968 Ford Mustang

The refurbished Gen 1 Mustang began with the 1967 model and was the first redesign of the original Mustang concept. The overall size, interior and cargo space were increased and exterior trim changes included concave taillights and side scoops. This 1968 Mustang was fully restored (2017) and received significant upgrades to many mechanical components. (A binder of facts and info is included with the car.) Under the hood, a blueprinted '331 Stroker' Windsor is fitted with quality pieces including a forged crank, Keith Black flat top pistons and FITech 'smart' fuel injection. The valve train is based on CompCams components – a Stage 3 camshaft (.493/.500/262), hydraulic lifters, roller rockers and performance valve springs. Exhaust is managed by tube headers, 2-1/2” H-pipes and free-flowing Summit mufflers. An electric fan provides cooling. This potent motor is backed by a high-torque T-5 'World Class' 5-speed manual w/CNC hydraulic clutch and an 8” Ford 'open' differential with 3.80:1 gearing. The chassis is fitted with manual steering, disc/drum brakes w/proportion valve, Shelby 'drop' front suspension, front sway bar, QA1 rear shocks and traction bars. This 'Boss Hoss' is built to run. The solid body was professionally resprayed 2-stage Wimbledon White and the outstanding finish is accented with new badging and 17x8 American Torque Thrust II alloys w/BFGoodrich G-Force Comp radial tires. The interior is first-class. Enhancements include custom tan vinyl, 'wood grain' dash w/gauge package, original-style AM/FM radio, overhead console, 3-spoke wheel, loop carpet, shoulder harness belts and a classic Hurst shifter. The trunk space has also been carefully upholstered to match. This sharp Mustang will look great in your driveway and also provide you with some serious performance moments. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
