This hard-working 1997 Ford F-250 Heavy Duty is a powerful 4x4 that doesn't appear to have worked very hard at all - an F-250 survivor. This all-original truck is powered by Ford's 5.8L (351ci Windsor) that outputs 210bhp/325lb/ft and is factory equipped with EFI fuel injection, roller lifters and a 6-quart pan. It is backed by a 4-speed manual gearbox w/overdrive and Touch-Drive electric 2H/4H/4L transfer case w/manual front hubs, Chassis features include power steering, power disc/drum brakes and dual fuel tanks. A 2” receiver and electric brake controller are installed for towing applications. Eight-lug 17” American Racing polished alloys mount nearly new Travelstar All-Terrain radial tires. The original Vermillion Red (code E4) exterior is accented with '4x4' logos, cab lights, folding mirrors, hood deflector and Pendaliner bed liner/floor mat. This F-250 appears to have been optioned with the chrome appearance package and chrome rear step bumper - all in excellent condition. The original Red cloth interior is just that – original. Showing virtually no wear, it is equipped with comfort/safety features that include A/C, full instrumentation, factory AM/FM stereo, driver airbag and tinted windows. Our preferred and most secure form of payment is a bank wire transfer. We do accept checks but note that any form of a check will have a minimum hold of two business days up to 4 business days until the funds have cleared. This includes cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. We cannot accept any credit card as payment or partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
