The 2nd generation Viper was introduced in late 1996. It offered more horsepower and a lot of much needed creature comforts over the Gen1 model. The Gen2 was dubbed the “Double Bubble” because it featured raised sections in the fiberglass top to provide head room for helmets during track days. This 1999 Viper RT/10 is a stunner. The current owner has taken outstanding care of the total performance MOPAR and states that the odometer mileage of 14,750 is actual. Original documentation, a binder of service info, service manuals and the Owner Manual are included. The desirable Viper Silver factory finish (said to be 1 of 1 with black strips) is in excellent condition, as is the extremely rare Cognac leather interior. (According to Viper Registry, only fifty RT/10 Vipers were produced in '99 in Silver/Cognac.) Comfort/safety features include A/C, power tinted windows, analog gauge package, tilt wheel, dual airbags, power locks and keyless entry. One of the popular features of the Gen2 Viper was the addition of adjustable driver pedals as standard equipment. A new windshield has just been installed and the single fiberglass roof panel and rear window are removeable. A roof tonneau cover, front bra and custom car cover are also included with the car. Sounds were furnished by a premium AM/FM/CD sound system with new Rockford speakers.
Horsepower for the Gen2 Viper RT/10 is provided by Chrysler's OHV 488ci V-10 (8.0L) that produces 450bhp and 490lb/ft of torque. Upgrades to this Gen2 engine/drivetrain included aluminum block/heads, improved fuel injection and stronger clutch/rear differential. The original Gen1 side-exiting exhaust pipe design was modified to relocate the exits to the rear of the vehicle and the V-10 is backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. A redesigned, stiffer Gen2 chassis is fitted with power steering, power disc brakes w/ABS, front/rear stabilizer bars and upgraded aluminum suspension components. Nearly new Pirelli P-Zero performance radials (275/35/18 front & 335/30/18 rear) are mounted on factory polished alloys. This Viper RT/10 is a beast, but still very docile on the street and equipped with all of the creature comforts you need – hang on and enjoy the ride. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.

Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
