In 2007, the flagship of performance for the German automaker Porsche was the 911. It came in many flavors - all fast. The styling of this 911 Carrera coupe needs no explanation. It's directly related to the earliest 911s of the '60s, but surprisingly modern, not to mention a lot beefier than previous models. The trunk's still in the front, the engine's in the back, but the driver and passengers now reside in a luxuriant interior. This Artic Silver Metallic Carrera is in virtually original condition and has been very well maintained (extensive service records/receipts included). The entire front clip was wrapped by SunTek with 3M film for protection. The rear-mounted 3.6-liter flat six-cylinder produces 325 horsepower, 274 pound-feet of torque and is backed by a six-speed manual RWD transaxle. Factory 18” Porsche alloy wheels mount Continental Extreme Contact performance radials. The Porsche Carrera handles with brilliance, but is a comfortable ride. All four wheels never seem to be anywhere but firmly planted on the pavement. Top speed was advertised as 181 mph with 0-60 times at 4.7 second range, but sanely there is no practical way to approach the 911's grip limits on the street.
Even though the 911 is primarily a sports car, it is equipped with many of the features that might be expected in a luxury coupe. The soft black leather upholstery is also in outstanding original condition and features include automatic climate control, power seats, tinted power windows and tilt/telescopic leather wheel. Additional features add power locks, cruise, sunroof, and dual front/side curtain airbags. Sounds are provided by an upgraded premium Alpine AM/FM/CD/USB/NAV head unit with 7” LCD Touchscreen, HDMI input, Bluetooth and 5-channel amp (830w total). A backup camera has also been installed. The traditional 2+2 seating is standard, but split-fold rear seatbacks allow an expanded cargo area in addition to a substantial area up front. The chassis is equipped with power steering, serious power ABS disc brakes (new rotors) and traction control. This Porsche 911 is a true performance coupe that will move quickly. This includes cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. We cannot accept any credit card as payment or partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
