Street Beasts Edition Built in 2005, 5.0 Ford Small Block
STK 2471 1966 AC Cobra Replica
The 1966 Shelby Cobra is 'the' classic replicar. According to records, this classic Cobra kit was manufactured by Street Beasts of Miami, FL and assembled by a very experienced kit car builder, ACME Car Company, New Cumberland, PA. It was completed in 2005 using 5.0 Ford drivetrain components. (The current owner has provided all documentation/receipts for the build.) The body was professionally finished in stunning enamel Red with grey stripes and gold trim and is in excellent condition. The tan leather interior is a nice representation of the original Cobra driving compartment, but somewhat more comfortable. A full compliment of VDO gauges is perfectly positioned in the functional dash. Each bucket seat is equipped with a vintage-style lap belt. A period correct Moto-Lita 14” mahogany wheel is mounted on a chrome tilt column. Based on the original build specs, the 5.0L Ford small-block is equipped with an Edelbrock Performer RPM II manifold, 70mm throttle-body and Edelbrock aluminum heads. A high-capacity aluminum radiator is fitted with an electric fan and serpentine belts are managed by a March Billet bracket set. The rumble from the side-pipe headers leaves no mistake that this motor is all business. It is backed by one of the best transmission set-ups that can be used in a Cobra kit - the Tremac TKO600 5-speed with steel scatter shield and King Cobra clutch/pressure plate. The chassis is equipped with power steering, power disc brakes with 9” rotors and an aluminum fuel tank. American Racing Torque Thrust II (14”f/15”r) mount Cooper radials. The current owner has taken good care of this handsome Cobra and is now ready to pass it on to the next caretaker. If you want a Cobra that you can actually drive and enjoy, this is your car. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
