STK 2564 1963 Studebaker GT Hawk

The Gran Turismo Hawk was produced by Studebaker between 1962 and 1964. It was influenced by styling features of stealthy European models as well as classic contemporary American designs. This fully restored (2011) Grand Turismo Hawk is a stunning example of the finest Hawk ever produced. The professional re-spray of Velvet Black is virtually flawless and abundant chrome is in excellent condition. The factory interior was restored to original with high-grade vinyl upholstery and careful attention to detail. Air conditioning is in good working order as is the AM radio. A full compliment of factory gauges is directly in the driver's line-of-sight and front/rear seat belts are installed for safe travel. This GT Hawk is powered by Studebaker's 289ci V8 that was factory rated at 240hp. The engine was totally rebuilt along with the addition of a FiTech 'Go-Street' EFI 3003 fuel injection system. This 4-injector throttle-body system bolts directly to the factory 4V intake and is paired with a remote tuner module located in the driver's compartment. These are great systems, much more flexible than performance carburetor formats. A 4-speed manual transmission (w/Hurst Comp+ shifter) transfers power to a stock differential. The clean chassis is equipped with power steering, power front disc/rear drum brakes, dual exhaust and new fuel tank. American Racing 16” alloys mount nice BFG radials. This car is not only beautiful, it is built to run. The Studebaker Gran Turismo is an affordable collectible that is recognized as a 'Milestone Car' by the Milestone Car Society. Our carefully restored GT is a wise investment that belongs in your garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
