Description

1957 Chevrolet 210

STK 2101 1953 Chevrolet 210 When this Chevy rolled off the assembly line in 1957, it was one of three basic models. The 150 was the standard bearer, the 210 had some cosmetic upgrades and the BelAir was the top-of-the-line. Most folks tend to restore BelAirs. However, the 210 has some very nice lines and a little less fluff. It makes a nice clean street rod. This '57 210 'post' received a complete restoration over 20 years ago with many mechanical enhancements. Horsepower comes from a GM 5.0L small block harvested from an '86 Firebird Trans Am. The induction system is the Bosch designed 700CFM GM Multi-Port fuel injection with aluminum tuned runners and intake manifold. Cooling comes from a Griffin Performance aluminum radiator. Exhaust escapes through a set of full tube headers and free-flow exhaust. The transmission is a GM 700R4 (3sp+OD). Out back is a 9 Ford posi-traction differential with 3.07:1 gearing. This car runs and sounds as good as it looks. Power brakes are disc/drum with a dual master cylinder set-up. The Arbor Green metallic paint and Artic White top give this classic Chevy a refined look. The paint was applied in 1992 and still looks just the same today. GM rally wheels (7w front / 8w rear) are right at home on this sedan. The smart high-grade vinyl interior incorporates the period-correct rolled-and-pleated custom style and the classic dash is accented by an 'ididit' tilt-wheel column. An AM/FM/Cassette/CD stereo with trunk mounted 10-disc changer provides the tunes. This handsome Chevy 210 Sedan will soon make one new owner very proud.
