It is hard to believe that it has been over 25 years since the birth of the C5 Corvette - a whole new Corvette. It was calm and collected, even on very rough pavement, due to its revolutionary new 'backbone' frame design.
This 3-owner 1998 Coupe is a beautiful example of an extremely popular model. The original Torch Red exterior has refreshed with a professional premium clearcoat finish and it is stunning. The owner (12 years) has added black accents from Eckler's to the hood, quarter panels and subtle spoiler. Corvette Z06-style aftermarket alloys mount Hancook performance radial tires and the 'Targa top' is a one-piece design. The upgraded interior is in excellent condition. C5 Corvettes deliver all of the convenience features as standard equipment including climate-control air conditioning, AM/FM/CD, power driver seat, power locks, keyless entry, power tinted windows, tilt wheel and cruise control. The owner has added new black/red leather upholstery, new floor mats and a sound-proofing package.
The 5.7L LS1 engine of the C5 produces 345 BHP @5600 RPM utilizing Sequential Multi-Port Injection (MPI). Torque is delivered through a 4L60-E 4-speed automatic rear transaxle. Standard axle ratio for the automatic C5 is 2.73:1. The chassis is equipped with power steering and 4-wheel ABS power disc brakes. An upgraded C6-sized Corsa exhaust has also been installed. This includes cashier's checks, certified checks, or bank checks of any kind. We cannot accept any credit card as payment or partial payment for a vehicle under any circumstance. Credit card transactions are ONLY accepted for the $500 deposit to hold the vehicle for 7 days while awaiting full payment.
