1970 Chevrolet El Camino

Description

STK 2448 1970 Chevrolet El Camino

The first generation El Camino was only built for two years – 1959 and1960. It was based on the full-size BelAir/Impala chassis. Production resumed in 1964 based on the newly released Chevelle model. By 1970, Chevelle performance had been firmly established and the El Camino model was certainly part of that adage. This fully restored (2008) 1970 El Camino is said to have spent a lot of time in Florida. It has been restored back to its original condition along with some carefully thought-out mechanical upgrades. Powered by a rebuilt 350ci small-block, the builder added an Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley dual-line carb, MSD ignition, Champion radiator and full-tube headers. The motor is backed by a 3-speed Turbo-HydraMatic transmission. Suspension components include power steering, power disc/drum brakes and 15”x8” GM Rally Wheels that mount BFG Radial T/A tires. The exterior was beautifully refinished in Cranberry Red, a professional job and has been well maintained. It and is accented with an SS stripping, a cowl induction hood and a virtually flawless painted bed. The distinctive restored interior focuses on style and function with a black vinyl bench seat, a full gauge package, sport wheel, tinted windows and an Alpine AM/FM/CD/XM stereo system. If you are looking for a classic El Camino that is a serious performer, come drive this restored beauty - it just may just end up in your garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”
